Woltair, a digital platform for European heating transformation, has a new CEO as of today. Tim Hilpert will lead the four countries in which the energy-tech startup operates. Vít Javůrek, who has been leading Woltair as interim CEO since February 2024, will continue to be part of the senior leadership team as Chief Strategy Officer.
Tim Hilpert, originally from Germany, joins Woltair from a global background and with experience in managing the growth of international online marketplaces and software-as-a-service businesses. Prior to Woltair, he worked for Trustpilot as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he worked for OLX Group. First as CEO Europe where he successfully focused on growing the OLX brand into a household brand in Poland and the broader CEE region. Subsequently he was appointed as CEO for OLX Markets, a business unit that combined all OLX businesses in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
As CEO of Woltair, Tim will lead the company through the next phase of growth in all markets where Woltair operates today, namely the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Poland. Together with the outstanding Woltair team, he will continue to focus product development on the automation and digitalization of the traditional heat pump market.

During his tenure, Vít Javůrek, Woltair's interim CEO, has stabilized processes, led the company through a period of focus on efficiency and digitalization and started enhancing the team with new senior members. Last but not least, he achieved the digitalization and automation of tools along the Customer Digital Journey, which are at the heart of Woltair's business model, and thus prepared the company for further growth. In his new role as Chief Strategy Officer, he will continue to focus on business model enhancements, new revenue streams introduction, supporting further international expansion and other strategic projects.
